"La síntesis de Santo Tomás de Aquino" es el título del congreso organizado por la Sección Española de la Sociedd Internacional Tomás de Aquino (SITAE) en Barcelona, con el propósito de dar un nuevo impulso a la comprensión del pensamiento unificador de Santo Tomás, no sólo respecto del aristotelismo sino también del neoplatonismo y del agustinismo que están en armónica continuidad con él. En el primer volumen, el lector podrá encontrar las ponencias que desarrollan la estructura básica del congreso, así como las relaciones de los presidentes de las distintas Secciones ( Teológica, Metafísica, Cosmologíca, Antropològica, Ética, Política, Histórica y Jurídica) donde se expusieron y debatieron las respectivas comunicaciones, las cuales ocupan una parte del primer volumen y todo el segundo volumen.
