Synopsis "Nice Try Dale: My Humorous Adventures as a Lifelong Klutz"
The physician author always wanted to be thought of as a cool sophisticated popular athlete and big man on campus, but all thru his life everything he tries in sport, dating and life in general, turns out wrong. These setbacks are hilarious to the reader but embarrassing to the author. He meets some characters in the ER and in the penitentiary service who have similar problems and this leads to many more belly laughs. These three words haunt him thru his life- "NICE TRY DALE" These were the words that his classmates first uttered when they were barely able to contain their laughter on watching his hilarious attempts at basketball and track and field. He developed a habit of saying these words to himself when he experienced constant setbacks in all his endeavours in high school, college and as a medical student, intern and ER Physician. Is he ever going to get things right and succeed?
