The entry into force of Royal Decree 158/2023, of March 7, gave rise to the last formal requirement for the formation of the Spanish Space Agency. An institution that is part of the Spanish institutional public sector and that, therefore, will be subject to the administrative regime of our legal system in its start-up and in the development of its actions. The aim of this article will be to place the Agency in the context of the administrative system in force in our country in order to get to know its idiosyncrasy, its values and its mode of operation.
