Synopsis "Princess Loggerhead's Gratitude Journey"
Princess Loggerhead travels thousands of miles across the ocean to her favorite nesting spot, Folly Beach, South Carolina. Gratitude awaits her as she observes the world along her journey. Much to her surprise, she arrived during The Gratitude Parade while the community celebrated their efforts in preservation of the environment and Loggerhead Turtle nesting sites. The theme "Lights Out-Turtle Watch" was recognized as a vital activity during nesting season for the turtles and hatchlings to follow the moon and stars back to their natural habitat. The Gratitude Parade was a celebration of something good going on in the world, such as the efforts of the townspeople in leaving a positive footprint on the environment. Princess Loggerhead celebrated the community of Folly Beach for looking out for the best interest of these ancient reptiles and their offspring.
