Synopsis "Substitute Teaching and Thriving"
For more than thirty years I have worked in education as a teacher or a counselor. I was certified in 1983 as an English teacher. Along the way I endorsed in Spanish and Psychology and Special Education. My Master's degree is in Counseling and Community Psychology. I was a counselor in part time private practice and or a certified public school counselor for 2 decades. From time to time (especially when was I was in school) I have been a substitute teacher.Substitute teaching can be an enjoyable experience. This little booklet is a summary of what I have learned about making substitute teaching, a successful and fun job. Perhaps it will be of assistance to you. I don't know everything but a learned enough for me and my students to have a pleasant and productive time. This how I do it.
