It's one year later, and the scientist who seeks to rule the world has come out of hiding. He has learned that Jared's father, Edward, is not only still alive, but is trying to stop him from unleashing his doomsday weapon on the world. Edward comes out of hiding when he detects Rayther's satellites have been activated, signaling the weapon is ready for use.
