Synopsis "The Lady In The Rug"
The pretty, middle-aged widow, Carmen Dos Pasos misses her departed husband desparately. In his memory and a promise they both once made, she decides to journey back to Joao's homeland - Portugal and stay in his town, in his stone house, and sleep in his little bed. While in the town, she meets Joao's girlfriend that he had just before he left for the United States, and learns that he left her pregnant. Fatima has a son, Joao junior and just a bit older than Carmen's Johnny Boy. Carmen begins to have nocturnal visits by Joao, that are both erotic and loving, until she learns that the 'ghost' is also visiting Fatima.
