Synopsis "The Masked Poet: The True Story of Beauty and the Beast"
A young poet, known by his stage name - the Masked Poet, is a seamless communicator, motivator, and soul penetrator with his gift of poetry. With his poems he saves a soul, with his poems he saves a relationship, with his poems, he saves a marriage, and with his poems, he touches the bosom of all who come in contact with him, taking them on emotional rides in poetic crafts, to varying fulfilment land, where they purr from psychological relish. On the other hand, Delight is a beauty queen; the quintessence of feminine beauty. She is so beautiful she became Miss Nigeria. But for all her life's fortunes, she is in a relationship she feels is a mismatch. And she never hides the fact she wants a lover who connects with, and can meet her emotional and psychological needs.One event leads to the other and the Masked Poet is invited to perform on her birthday cum reunion party with her boyfriend after the resolution of a friction in their relationship, just after she has been crowned the new Miss Nigeria. The Masked Poet blows her away, and then takes her breath away, with soul rendering poems she ever heard in her life in that party. Consequently, she determines the Masked Poet is the very man she's desired in her life all along; and she set out to have him. Before now however, the Masked Poet is on a personal vow to remain celibate and expresses this when asked, by maintaining he is not ready for marriage yet. But despite knowing this, Delight is determined to make him crack that vow so he can be her lover as much as the poet he is. The Masked Poet hesitated and resisted, but Delight persisted and insisted until he fell. But it wasn't until they were married, that Delight discovered why the Masked Poet hesitated on love and was on a personal vow against love - he is a beast.In what way is the Masked Poet a beast?
