Synopsis "The Ramadan Files: An Inward Journey"
My latest book, The Ramadan Files, came as a thought a couple of days before fasting started. The more I thought about writing a passage each day of the month during the fast, the more inspired I became. It would be a great reflection of my state of being as the days progressed. Within these pages is what transpired on this magnificent inward journey during this Holy month of Ramadan. Journey with me! These daily entries came to me in the form of short free-verse poems and reflections most without rhyme or rhythm. It was more of a journal of sorts, something that I could physically have to look back upon and also, God-willing, include in the years to come as part of my Ramadan readings. This is my intention as well for the reader, that these words serve as a form of inspiration, meditation and guidance. God-willing we can all live the true fast every day of our lives, not just within the holy month of Ramadan.
