In light of this, she was inspired to write a book that could stimulate children to develop character that sought after the truth of God, believing that to be the ultimate key for success. In its pages, 'Twas Nine Months Before Christmas, are demonstrated perseverance, trust, integrity, obedience, and kindness. These are all character traits that one would hope to impart in the lives of children. This book was inspired and written on a 75-mile journey to a worship service one Sunday morning. Hoping to utilize the artistic talent of her gifted son to illustrate the book, JoAnn found that was not God's plan. Reminded that He had also given her the gift to draw, she began to creatively illustrate the scenes for the book. To God Be All the Glory!!! JoAnn Moore, a retired School Counselor, possesses a genuine heart for children. Because of her classroom guidance interactions, JoAnn had been encouraged by colleagues to write books that would engage children in activities to develop good moral character traits.
